Move in three steps
- Make sure Soulver’s sheetbook is downloaded on your Mac, or save the sheets you want as .slvr files.
- In Varlig, open Settings › Import & Export, choose Import from Soulver… and choose your sheetbook or sheets. File › Import Notes… takes them too.
- Each sheet becomes a calculation note with its original file attached, and Soulver isn’t changed. Check sheets that use Soulver’s own settings, such as global definitions or custom units.
Varlig from the App Store doesn’t look up stock prices. Currency and crypto rates are live, and free.

Questions about switching from Soulver
Does importing change my Soulver sheets?
No. Each sheet becomes a calculation note with its original .slvr file attached, and Soulver isn’t changed.
Will every sheet work out the same?
Most will. Check sheets that use Soulver’s own settings, such as global definitions or custom units, and lines with stock prices, which Varlig from the App Store doesn’t look up.
Is the calculator really free?
Yes. Every calculation, with units, currencies, dates and live rates, is free in Varlig. Varlig Pro adds charts and what-if scenarios.
